Early winter morning of 1946, there was a couple pulling a stall in front
of Ichikawa Station.
It was a sunny, but windy and cold morning. This is the beginning
of "OWARIYA".
The scenery of the husband preparing eels and the wife grilling them in
the brazier and the reputation of "serving the fresh dishes"
have spread in the blink of an eye. Since then, the customers have been
increasing and coming not only from local areas, but also from a far.
That couple were very pleased to make them happy with their eels.
The spirit of OWARIYA, "to make customers happy through eels"
has been passed down unchanged through generations and will remain unchanged.
Please enjoy the taste and skill that have been inherited for generations.
